Room The room has a cozy, artsy studio vibe and comes fully furnished: a curated mix of vintage treasures (wardrobe, chest of drawers, a cozy armchair), an industrial shelf, art prints, lots of plants — and yes, my surfboard. It has a south-facing window, so it stays bright and sunny even in winter. (I took the bed photo at night right before leaving for Christmas, so it doesn’t show how sunny it gets during the day — sorry!) I love sitting in the window with a coffee and looking out towards the English Garden (you can actually spot that in the candid outside photo my roommate Anna took 😄). Location The flat is in an absolutely prime spot in Maxvorstadt, basically across from the English Garden — right between Odeonsplatz (approx. 300 m) and the LMU main building (approx. 400 m). Public transport is excellent: U3/U4/U5/U6 at Odeonsplatz plus several bus/tram lines nearby, so you can get around Munich super quickly. Even though it’s so central, Rheinbergerstraße is a residents-only street, which makes it surprisingly quiet. The area is full of great cafés, bars and restaurants, and the English Garden is ~3 minutes on foot — perfect for running, walks (or just getting fresh air). There are also lots of yoga / Pilates studios and fitness options nearby (including the outdoor gym by the Pinakotheken). The flat We share a cozy living room (with a sleeping couch for guests), a small balcony that’s perfect for coffee and slow brunches in the morning sun, a bathroom with bathtub + window (big win in Munich), and a kitchen with a new stove + oven. The kitchen is well equipped (chef household hehe), so cooking is genuinely fun and easy. Flatshare / vibe You’d be living with two lovely flatmates. We’re all quite busy, but we like to catch up whenever we can — snacking, chatting, grabbing a drink, or the occasional ice bath. Everyone also has their own routine and privacy. For us, the flat is a warm home base where we recharge. Sublet period I’m subletting the room for January. If you’re looking for longer, feel free to tell me your needs — there’s an option to extend afterwards, potentially until end of April, if it’s a good fit.
