Hey there! 👋 Luisa and I (Helen) are looking for a new roommate to join our cozy little flat and ideally someone who wants to be more than just a person we occasionally see in the kitchen while silently waiting for the kettle. We’re not looking for a conventional “everyone minds their own business” flatshare. We’d love to find someone who is happy to become part of our little household and share some of the fun times, the chaotic times, and the occasional “why is there no toilet paper again?” times. 😂 We’d love to do things together from time to time whether that’s cooking dinner, having a drink, watching a movie, going out, exploring the city, playing games, or spontaneously deciding that going for one drink was a terrible lie. That said, nothing is mandatory! We completely understand that everyone has their own life, friends, work, studies, and need for alone time. We’re looking for a nice balance between being friendly housemates and giving each other space. A little about us Helen (26) scientist, professional overthinker, and unfortunately my German is currently beyond rescue. English is therefore very much appreciated! Luisa (24) student studying to become a teacher, presumably because she has the patience to deal with people like me. We’re both easy-going, social, and enjoy having a home that feels comfortable and welcoming rather than just being a place where we happen to sleep. What we’re looking for Ideally, we’d love someone around our age who: * speaks English fluently (or at least comfortably, my German really cannot be relied upon 😂) * is friendly, open-minded, and up for occasionally doing things together * understands that a shared flat is, in fact, shared * has some previous flatshare experience or at least understands the sacred laws of communal living * is reasonably clean and tidy * is responsible and considerate about shared spaces, noise, cleaning, bills, etc. Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who is kind, respectful, and genuinely interested in having a pleasant flatshare experience.
