The WG is a beautiful two floor apartment with a spacious kitchen, big living room, balcony and roof access. (If you're wondering: We have 3 showers, 2 washing machines and 4 toilets in 4 bathrooms in total - so enough for all of us with no stress!) Unfortunately, the apartment is not barrier free since it is on the top floor and can be reached only via stairs. The room will be available from the start of October . The dates are flexible and we can definitely make it work for you! :) The room is on the lower floor and very cozy. It has a high ceiling and a big window that looks out onto the street. the room is 16 sqm, and around 450-500 for rent. We try to distribute our rents in respect to our means and adapt them regularly when needed. City registration is available. We are 10 people living here, still, there is definitely enough space for privacy. There are rarely any large parties and if so, we plan them together. It is fairly quiet since people work and study a lot. Regardless, we have cozy moments together and often co-work. We hang out, play games and watch movies, go to educational events and demos, cook for each other, and genuinely enjoy each other’s company. Being introverted is welcomed, but you should enjoy talking to people as communication is an important part of living together. It would also be great if you would/can speak English since there is a non-German speaking person here :) We all try our best to learn about and live with political awareness. So clearly: No transphobia, homophobia, racism, and zionist sympathizers. 🍉 We come from diverse backgrounds, and we also study/work in different fields: some of us are in the Humanities and Social Sciences, and others are in Creative fields. You don’t need to know everything, still a certain degree of political alignment is important to us. So if you are warm, kind, open minded, we might be a match :) Our WG is gender diverse and lots of us are migrants or from migrant families, so we warmly welcome especially queer BIPoC <3 *We won’t respond to anyone who seems like they have not at all read the description. The flat is located in Höchst, in many ways a very beautiful part of Frankfurt. We are ten minutes away from the Main and the Nidda, and twenty from the Niddastrand (especially nice, when it’s warm but also very beautiful for autumn/winter walks). There is also the beautiful old-town, great for strolling around. In 2-5 minutes distance you fid lots of small supermarkets selling fruits, vegetables and fresh bread, Rewe, DM, Rossmann, Norma, Aldi, etc. One street further there is a public swimming pool and the Filmforum Höchst. Every Thursday and Saturday there is a huge fleamarket at the Jahrhunderthalle Höchst, which is just 5 minutes by bus from here. More highlights: there is a great falafel place around the corner
