If the user does not object within a reasonable period of time, the new GTC shall be deemed accepted. The user is expressly informed of these legal consequences.

2 Subject matter of the contract and services
2.1. flatsforfriendz offers a digital, network-based platform on which living space and rooms in shared flats are brokered.
2.2 Users can place their own adverts for flats and rooms in shared flats and view adverts placed by other users. The platform enables direct contact between those offering and those looking for accommodation.
2.3 The platform is accessible to private and commercial users, with private and commercial advertisements being clearly labelled.
2.4. flatsforfriendz accepts no liability for the availability, accuracy or completeness of the content posted by users.
2.5 The full use of the platform requires the registration of a user account.
3. Registration and user account
3.1 Registration takes place by providing a e-mail address, telephone number and an Instagram account. The user is obliged to provide truthful and complete information when registering and to keep this information up to date at all times.
3.2 The user is responsible for keeping their access data (OTP, user name) secret. The user shall be liable for any misuse of his account by third parties.
3.3 The creation of a user account is a prerequisite for being able to use all functions of the platform, including in-depth viewing of adverts and making contact with other users.
3.4 A user account can be registered both via the WebApp and via the mobile app.
4. User profiles and advertisements
4.1 Users can create their own profiles in which they store personal information, media and contact details. This data is necessary in order to get in touch with other users and to carry out interactions.
4.2 Users are responsible for the content of their adverts. Advertisements must contain truthful information about the flats or shared rooms offered. flatsforfriendz reserves the right to check advertisements and remove them in the event of violations of the GTC or legal regulations.
5. Rights and obligations of users
5.1 Users undertake not to provide false, misleading or incomplete information. All data must be kept up to date at all times.
5.2 Inappropriate content such as sexual, radical or offensive content is strictly prohibited.
5.3 Users may only use the platform for the intended purposes. Any improper use, such as the mass sending of advertising, is prohibited.
5.4 In the event of violations, flatsforfriendz reserves the right to temporarily or permanently exclude the user from using the platform.
5.5 Users are obliged to ensure that the app is used on a secure device that is regularly updated to ensure the security of data processing.
6. Liability and warranty
6.1. flatsforfriendz shall only be liable for damages caused by intent or gross negligence. flatsforfriendz shall only be liable for slight negligence in the event of a breach of material contractual obligations and only to the extent of the foreseeable, typically occurring damage.
6.2. flatsforfriendz assumes no liability for the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of the content posted by users. Contracts concluded between users of the platform are the sole responsibility of the parties involved.
6.3 Liability for damages caused by force majeure, such as natural disasters or technical faults, is excluded.
